Bucky Malone is known for his catchy hooks, genius collaborations, and visuals that are out of this world. Malone’s New Years Day release of his latest mixtape The Time is 7:03 has received nothing less than positive feedback. With over 1000 views and countless downloads, this project wouldn’t be complete without remarkable music videos to match.
Affectionately known as Little Tokyo, this video gives you a deeper look into his alter ego with the loud images and vibrant backgrounds. Directed by his musical colleague Kelow Latesha, this visual is three minutes of pure mesmerizing talent. Malone gives you an adult perspective of one of the most popular childhood board games, “Candyland”. “This is my best visual yet”, says Malone. “The beat is colorful and reminded me of a funhouse so I wanted to make sure it was a ton of mirrors and vibrant colors to give the viewers that funhouse vibe while watching.”
This is the second visual from Bucky Malone’s latest project, with the first being Not Like Me. Bucky Malone plans to drop at least two more videos to accompany his head banging hits, but not before he makes his west coast debut at the underground music festival, Noise In The Hood in April of 2016.
