Influenced by his love of Japanese manga and anime, rising Toronto artist Rashid St. James releases ‘Yung Tetsuo (Berry Gordy),’ inspired by the Katsuhiro Otomo movie ‘Akira.’
In the song; which will appear on his debut project slated for a 2015 release, Rashid depicts telling a tale of chaotic city nights that is owned by the youth. He and fellow OOC (Out. Of. Control) producer 4:44 (formerly known as Dmndbk) collaborate once again to create this ode to the dark Toronto nights that Rashid has given his poetic focus to.
