Hundo has released his debut project titled Black Male, 25. The rapper’s exhilarating two-sided “tape” offers his reflective journey and relatable experience– from racism to relationships. Hundo blesses us with his story through invigorating trap and hip-hop vibes with a taste of sultry features over R&B beats.
The 25-year-old Pittsburgh native began working on his craft during the summer of 2014. That summer, with the rise in police brutality, the rapper decided to walk away from the youth pastor position he was so devoted to in order to make a difference the best way he knew how; through music. “This is an unedited expression of how I feel being a young Black male in America,” says Hundo. “While people were sitting around complaining, I decided to put on my gloves and help scrub. So I shut out everything and locked myself in a room for about 2 years… and came up with this.”
