Fresh off the heels of his EP, The Glorious BIG and over a year since his last full length album, A Vintage Love Supreme, Devine Carama is back with the interlude to his forthcoming album Kingtucky.
The new single ‘God Said I’m the Nicest’ is a lyrical onslaught, which features the likes of Lexington wordsmith D’Lee and includes production by Philly beat maker, Obvious.
Carama talks about the new release saying, “Kingtucky is a project where I really wanna push the pen. My last project (The Glorious BIG) tried some new things sonically & focused on the music. On the album I really put a focus back on the lyrics. “God Said I’m the Nicest was just me & D’Lee in the studio throwing didn’t verses back & forth. The beat was really unorthodox so I had trouble crafting a song with a conventional structure so we chose it as the interlude and we just spazzed on. A lot of layers to this jawn lyrically.”
