Al-Fatir’s ‘L.O.V.E.’ is the first visual from a newly themed project, entitled “Godly.” At just over seven minutes, this Kudej production creatively rides the line between short film and music video.
The song itself serves as a pun; with the title being an acronym for Lasting Oppression Versus Evolution. Kudej’s visual shows the story of a man’s mental struggle between the lasting oppression that persists in our world and the evolution necessary to conquer it; all the while finding himself helpless and unable to change the world around him. Al-Fatir personally is portrayed in two forms. One reflecting on lasting oppression and the other of his evolution.
Musically, Al-Fatir rebelliously knifes thru Aviles’ atmospheric production on this track, leaving conscious relate-able thoughts in its wake.
